In support of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, the HSE Department is launching Fibre & Fruit Week — a week-long campaign to promote better health through fruits and fibre.
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on apples! Apples are high in fibre, helps to prevent cancer, boost immunity, balance blood sugar level and stimulate weight loss. They’re crisp, refreshing, and perfect as a snack, in salads, or blended into smoothies.
Each day will feature simple tips, fun facts, and mini challenges to encourage everyone to enjoy more apples and stay healthy.
