FIBRE & FRUIT WEEK: Nourish to Flourish!
FIBRE & FRUIT WEEK: Nourish to Flourish!
Organized by the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department
In support of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, the HSE Department is launching Fibre & Fruit Week a week-long campaign to promote better health through fruits and fibre.
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on blueberries!
Blueberries are small but mighty naturally rich in fibre and packed with nutrients that bring a wide range of health benefits. They support digestion, benefit the skin, promote heart health and aid weight loss. With about 2.40g of fibre per serving, blueberries help keep your body strong, your skin glowing and your heart happy.
Sweet, juicy, and antioxidant-rich, blueberries are perfect as a snack, in yoghurts, smoothies or as a topping for your breakfast bowl.
Each day will feature simple tips, fun facts and mini challenges to encourage everyone to enjoy more blueberries and stay healthy.
Let’s enjoy the week and boost our well being one blueberry at a time!
