The Combined Cycled Power Plant, also known as combined cycle gas turbine, is a gas turbine generator that generates electricity. The waste heat from the gas turbine is routed to the nearby steam turbine. Through the steam turbine, waste heat is exerted to produce steam for additional electricity generation.
Compared to a traditional simple-cycle plant, Combined Cycle Power Plant form 50 percent more power using a gas and a steam turbine synergy.
