AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS BOILER AND PRESSURE VESSEL (ASME BPVC.I) TRAINING
On October 24th, representatives from TECHNOFIT attended the ASME BOILER & PRESSURE VESSEL CODE (Section I) Training.
This specialized training ensures that engineers can effectively perform their roles while complying with industry standards and codes specific to the power, oil, and gas sectors, as established by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
The training also aims to familiarize industry professionals in Malaysia’s boiler repair sector with the Factories and Machinery Act 1967 (FMA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), which govern regulations related to boiler design.
ASME BPVC.1 training is vital across multiple industries, especially in engineering and manufacturing. Through this training, TECHNOFIT hopes to strengthen the expertise of its technical service department in boiler maintenance practices. This approach supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. TECHNOFIT is committed to fostering sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, while ensuring full, productive employment and decent work opportunities for all.
