FIBRE & FRUIT WEEK: Nourish to Flourish!
FIBRE & FRUIT WEEK: Nourish to Flourish!
Organized by the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department
In support of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, the HSE Department is launching Fibre & Fruit Week — a week-long campaign to promote better health through fruits and fibre.
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on watermelons! Watermelons are naturally hydrating and packed with powerful health benefits — they are rich in fibre, promote healthy digestion, help regulate blood pressure, boost immunity, and reduce inflammation. They are also an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin A, support healthy kidneys, improve vision, lower muscle soreness, and contribute to overall heart health. Juicy, sweet, and refreshing, watermelons are perfect on their own, in fruit salads, or blended into smoothies and juices.
Each day will feature simple tips, fun facts, and mini challenges to encourage everyone to enjoy more watermelons and stay healthy.
Let’s enjoy the week and boost our well-being — one watermelon at a time!
