FIBRE & FRUIT WEEK: Nourish to Flourish!

Organized by the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department

In support of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, the HSE Department is launching Fibre & Fruit Week a week long campaign to promote better health through fruits and fibre.

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on papayas! Papayas are low in calories but packed with powerful health benefits they promote healthy digestion, help strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, provide about 1.7g of fibre per 100g and support good eyesight. They are also rich in vitamin C, vitamin A and antioxidants, which help improve skin health and promote overall wellness. Naturally sweet and refreshing, papayas are perfect on their own, in fruit salads or blended into smoothies.

Each day will feature simple tips, fun facts and mini challenges to encourage everyone to enjoy more papayas and stay healthy.
