TECHNOFIT ADVANCES ASEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY STRATEGY THROUGH STRATEGIC VIETNAM MISSION
TECHNOFIT has successfully concluded a strategic business mission to Vietnam, reinforcing TECHNOFIT’s long-term vision of becoming a leading renewable energy asset owner and infrastructure developer across Southeast Asia.
Led by Group Managing Director, Datuk Ir. Ts. Hj. Mohd. Izuddin Hj. Mohd. Ilias, together with members of the Board of Directors, senior management and strategic partners, the mission focused on accelerating the development of TECHNOFIT’s flagship 10 MW Hau Giang Rice Husk Power Plant.
Across Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, the delegation engaged with the Can Tho City People’s Committee, local government representatives, BIDV, Maybank Vietnam, ADK Vietnam Lawyers and other key stakeholders. These high-level discussions strengthened the legal, financial and institutional foundations required to advance the project towards successful implementation.
The Hau Giang project represents more than a single investment—it marks a strategic milestone in TECHNOFIT’s corporate transformation. Once operational, the plant will transform agricultural waste into clean and reliable electricity, supporting Vietnam’s energy transition, advancing circular economy principles and generating long-term socio-economic value for local communities.
Building on over 28 years of engineering excellence, TECHNOFIT is developing an integrated business model spanning project origination, engineering, financing, construction, operation and long-term asset ownership. This evolution positions the company to create recurring value while delivering sustainable outcomes for shareholders, financial partners and host communities.
Vietnam represents a strategic gateway for TECHNOFIT’s regional growth. Actively pursuing opportunities across biomass, biogas and other renewable energy sectors, with the objective of building a diversified portfolio of sustainable infrastructure assets throughout Southeast Asia.
