TECHNOFIT QHSE PROGRAM: TOOLBOX ON CORONAVIRUS , PTW & ERT TEAM
Friday, 7th February 2020 – A toolbox on CoronaVirus, PTW and ERT Team were held today at TECHNOFIT Headquarters by Quality, Health and Safety Environment Department and conducted by HSE Officer, Ms. Aisha and HSE Executive, Mr. Muhammad Haziq Shazli.
The toolbox begins with a blood pressure check up by HSE Officer, the purpose of that is to ensure that everyone is in their best health condition and to monitor for any high blood pressure (hypertension) or low blood pressure (hypotension) conditions.
Prior to the blood pressure checkup, everyone participated in a ball game to enhance employees’ memory, relationship as well as to improve multitasking skill. The aim of the ball game is also to lift up the mood and happy spirit in TECHNOFIT-IAN.
During the toolbox session, everyone are also reminded of the current condition that has been on alert worldwide, which is CoronaVirus. HSE Executive also explains on the origin of the virus, how it spreads, and how to prevent from being infected.
Before the toolbox ends, a walkabout took place in which everyone is divided into group and work in group to identify any hazard around TECHNOFIT Headquarters by using HERO form. The toolbox then ends with a discussion on hazard identified and how to make sure a safe less hazard workplace.
