HQ TOOLBOX: CHEMICAL AWARENESS & HANDLING
On 28 August 2025, a Chemical Awareness & Handling Session was conducted at HQ as part of the HQ Toolbox Talk programme. The session was delivered by Mr. Amirul from the HSE Department and highlighted the importance of understanding chemical hazards in the workplace, particularly related to storage, usage and disposal.
The session emphasized the need for proper labeling, correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) when handling chemicals. Participants were also reminded of emergency response procedures in case of chemical spills, leaks or accidental exposure to ensure workplace safety.
